| Sally Eisele is an accomplished journalist, avid history buff and aspiring vagabond with a passion for travel that has taken her from the peaks of the Himalayas to the trout streams of Patagonia. For now though, she’s settled near Lake Michigan, where she works as Managing Editor for Chicago Public Radio. | |||||||||||||||||
| With over 20 years experience in radio, audio production, writing and editing, Sally is the founding Senior Producer of The California Report, a statewide news program based at KQED-FM, San Francisco. Under her leadership as producer and editor the program won numerous state and national awards. The endangered Kirtland's Warbler nests exclusively in northern Michigan. New census figures show the population of the rare songbird is at a record high, but the future of the species is far from certain. Sally has filed several reports on the plight of this tiny bird.

| Her career has its roots in Michigan where she covered the Lansing statehouse for WKAR, worked as Managing Editor for the Michigan Public Radio Network and won many awards for her political and environmental reporting. Highlights of her work include a documentary series on the Au Sable River and a series she co-produced about life on the Great Lakes. | |||||||||||||||||
| Over the years, Sally has contributed frequently to National Public Radio, Public Radio International, the Great Lakes Radio Consortium, and other national news outlets. As a voice talent, editor, and audio producer her work has also included gigs with the George Lucas Foundation, Antenna Audio and Creedman Communications. | |||||||||||||||||
